"Ruby Temptation" opens with an oval ruby framed in a full halo of pavé, then drops into a fanned skirt of baguettes that flares out like a little pleated hem. Two shapes, one fall: the rich ruby catches the eye up top, then hands it down to the burst of white fire below. The eye travels, then lingers.
